District Policy on
ANAHEIM UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS
will not wear or display the following
gang, tagger, crew, clique clothes, apparel or drawings:
- “Ben Davis”, “Frisco Counties”, “Solo”, “Players 69”, “Johnny Blaze”, “SUR”, “Orange County”, “OC”, “Los Angeles”, “L.A.”, “R.I.P”, “Rest in Peace”, “Mi Vida Loca”, “My Crazy Life”, “Smile Now, Cry Later”, “South Pole” clothes and/or apparel
- Gang, tagger, crew, clique numbers, letters, symbols, drawings and/or tattoos to include, but not limited to, the following:
- Number 13, 18, 81, 88
- Gang, tagger, crew, clique nicknames
- Gang, tagger, crew, clique names or abbreviations
- Cigarette or coin burn marks
- Military style belt buckle with initials
- Long end of belt outside of belt loops
- Head gear unless approved by school administration
- Helmets
- Bandanas of any size or color
- Pants larger than two inches over wearer’s normal waist size
- Alterations to pants to reduce appearance of waist size of baggy pants
- “Sagging” pants of any style – pants are worn at waist level
- Pants with frayed cuffs
- Pants with inseam and/or seam cut from bottom of cuff
- Combination of shorts with length below knees and socks at or above knees
- Tight jeans with high cuff
- Tight t-shirt with rolled up sleeves
- Athletic jerseys or apparel with “star” insignia =
- Metal studded clothes or apparel
- Pet type choker chains
- T-shirt bottoms below fingertips when arms hanging at side
- Additional items as determined by direct feedback and observation from school administrators, safe school program specialists and local law enforcement officials.
